The cast of the hit show Glee kicked off their 16-city North American tour at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas on May 21 2011. The show featured 13 members of the television show’s cast. Below, we have more Glee live in Las Vegas concert photos.
Stars of the tour include Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine).
“Glee Live! In Concert!” was conceived by show creator Ryan Murphy. Fans caught live performances of some of the show’s most memorable musical numbers from the first two seasons of the show, including “Empire State of Mind” “Toxic”, “My Life Would Suck Without You”, “It’s My Life”, and the show’s anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin’”.
The Los Angeles Times called last year’s Glee concerts “triumphant”. USA Today chimed in by calling the shows “equal parts musical theater, giddy pop culture phenomenon and Journey-loving rock show.”
