Doug Benson, Garfunkel & Oates and Todd Barry are among the talent at the 2012 Vancouver ComedyFest’s Opening Night Gala Feb 16 at The Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts. David Cross and Bob Odenkirk, aka Mr. Show, will close it on Feb. 25 at the same venue.

This year’s marks a new time of year for the annual event, which in the past has occurred in early fall. The festival runs from Feb 16 – 26 and will take place at numerous venues across the Lower Mainland.

Due to a scheduling conflict, David Hasselhoff will not be available to host the Opening Night Gala.

Tickets range from $36.50 to $44.50 (plus applicable fees and service charges) for the opening night gala and $44.50/39.50/34.50 for closing night. They’re available online at www.comedyfest.com.
