Method Man played the Commodore in Vancouver Thursday night.
The first- and some would say biggest – solo artist to emerge from the Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man is known for his mush-mouthed, sandpaper-rough bellow and imaginative rhymes.
He has recorded a number of solo albums, including Tical (1994). A fifth solo album, Crystal Meth (yep, he went there, only about 10 years too late) is expected sometime this year.
Method Man, née 42-year-old Clifford Smith, is also know for his collaborations with Redman, both on albums like Blackout! and movies like the 2001 stoner comedy How High.
