Scottish indie-pop band Camera Obscura on tour for their fifth album, Desire Lines. It was produced by Tucker Martine and released by 4AD on June 3.The Scottish band features singer Tracyanne Campbell, Carey Lander, Gavin Dunbar, Kenny McKeeve, and Lee Thomson. The group released its first album, Biggest Bluest Hi-Fi, in 2001.
In its review of Desire Lines, Pitchfork said, “More deeply satisfying than extraordinary, it seems unlikely to displace anyone’s favorite Camera Obscura record, but neither is it a negligible entry in one of the smartest and most loveable discographies in contemporary indie-pop.”
