Vancouver International Wine Festival 2014 – Passionate Pairings

One of our favourite Vancouver International Wine Festival events is the Saturday afternoon bacchanal known as Passionate Pairings. Featuring small plates, oysters, a selection of cheeses and New Zealand wines, the annual Boathouse event offers a view of the beach and (usually) grey skies – the latter offset by the sunny aromas and tastes of Down Under Sauvignon Blancs and Chardonnays.
This year’s offered something special – New Zealand oysters flown in just for this occasion.
