Chromeo at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver Tuesday night on the Come Alive Tour. The duo is on tour for their latest album, White Women. Released on Valentine’s Day 2014, the new record  mixes R&B hooks with classic-rock riffs and the duo’s inimitable lyrics.

Chromeo is comprised of Dave 1 and P-Thugg. Once dismissed as a tongue-in-cheek project, the 10-year-old act has emerged as one of dance-pop’s most formidable forces.

According to the press relesae, “Dave and Pee kicked off the album campaign in late 2013 with collaborations with Snarkitecture, MILK Studios, Tumblr and Surface To Air, made TV history with their live version of ‘Sexy Socialite’ with Death From Above 1979 as their backing band on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and sold out shows in the US and Europe within minutes of announcing them.”

The current 26-date Come Alive tour includes Coachella Festival performances and a Red Rocks headlining show
