A cavalcade of performers played brief sets last Thursday night in Vancouver. The occasion was Sing it Forward, an annual event to raise money for the St. James Music Academy in Vancouver.
Organized by Dave Vertesi of Hey Ocean! and Ambrosia Humphries, this year’s SIF roster included The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer from Vancouver, July Talk from Toronto and special guest performer Hannah Georgas. Other acts included K-Os, Bear Mountain, Dear Rouge, Jordan Klassen, Hey Ocean! and singers from the St. James Music Academy. According to geysermusic.com, one of these singers was an eight-year-old, Ava Knight, who sang “Reflection”.
