Rumer in Vancouver on Saturday night.
The singer’s real name is Sarah Joyce. According to Wikipedia, the Pakistani-born British singer–songwriter took her stage name from the author Rumer Godden.
Her voice has been described as reminiscent of Karen Carpenter‘s. Wiki: “Supported by leading music industry figures including Burt Bacharach, Jools Holland and Elton John, she was nominated for two Brit awards on 13 January 2011.”
Joyce’s musical alter ego has released three albums, including 2014’s Into Colour.
