Martha Wainwright follows in Bat for Lashes’ birthday suit footsteps
Martha Wainwright will release her latest album this fall. Titled Come Home to Mama (MapleMusic Recordings), the album was produced by Yuka Honda (Cibo Matto, Sean Lennon, Yoko Ono), and written by Wainwright.
The record follows 2008’s I Know You’re Married But I’ve Got Feelings Too and will be out Oct 16. Guest musicians include Wilco guitarist Nels Cline and Dirty Three drummer Jim White.
It’s her third record, not counting a 2009 tribute to French singer Edith Piaf, Sans Fusils, Ni Souliers, Ã Paris: Martha Wainwright’s Piaf Record
Wainwright is of course the sister of Rufus, who released his latest Out of the Game earlier this year.
